MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- NLMK Metalware, Russia’s leading manufacturer of fasteners and a part of Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) group of companies, has launched a self-tapping screws plant with a 3,400 tonne capacity, raising the plant’s total capacity by 50%, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The launch of the new production line will allow the company to raise its share on the Russian markets of fasteners through substitution of imports in the first place,” the statement read.
